How to install AirGate

Note: if you are a returning Telme user, you will be asked to re-register your device in the new portal. This is only done once. You can start the registration right off from the welcome page. If you are a new user or in case you cancel the registration, click on the “AirGate” link inside the “Communication” tab.

    • Connect to Internet by connecting the AirGate with your DSL/Cable modem or an external hub with the help of the Ethernet cable.
    • Turn on the power by connecting the device to the power outlet with power adaptor.
    • After around 30min the LEDs of the AirGate will start flickering*. It indicates that the AirGate is downloading additional software and running the auto-upgrade.

      DO NOT TURN THE AIRGATE OFF FOR ANOTHER 40MIN!

    * If the AirGate doesn’t flicker it is not connected to Internet. Please check your connection.
    • After successful update you will find two Wi-Fi networks: protected (private) and unprotected.
    • Your protected network will request a password - it is the WLAN MAC of the Airgate, which you will find at the back of the router.
    • When all connections are done - the POWER and ETHERNET indicators on the AirGate will turn on and the green LED placed beneath it will indicate a successful installation.
    • To start using its VoIP services please connect the AirGate to a telephone jack with RJ-11 analog cable (this cable is NOT included in the package)

    Note: if you notice the AirGate not working and the LEDs flickering, the autoupdate has started itself, without manual reboot.
In this case, please wait till the LEDs stop to flicker and the device starts working. After the LEDs were flickering, do NOT turn off(unplug) the power yourself for at least one hour.
