We offer you a really unique opportunity.
Use FAQ to know absolute everything on Telme’s project and business model. Find out easily the answer you’re looking for in our FAQ.
With the changes in Telme, your nickname becomes your only ID in the system – all Telme telephony services are now based on it. In other words your “login” is also your “phone number” and “email address”. When you need to use alpha-numeric key board (for example to call from DID or AirGate), simply dial the numbers that correspond to letters in your nickname (e.g. if you need to dial “barney” you dial “227639” instead). Nickname replaces the VSIM of the old system – no new VSIMs will be issued. However already issued and functioning ones will be further supported.
Your AirGate is a separate telephonic device and you are thus able to make/receive calls directly from it. Every AirGate has a “phone” number, different from what your nickname-number is. Upon your choice it becomes the part of your CatchMe chain.

AirGate is a single Wi-Fi and VoIP device and it represents the main element of Telme network made by all its users.AirGate allows you to create two wireless networks – an encrypted personal one and a public one. Sharing your public network with Telme users allows you to automatically have access to their network. Your private network will always have priority.AirGate does not replace your Internet provider; you must have a broadband connection to use it.It configures automatically. It can be used to call other Airgates for free, or any number worldwide, at a very low rate.Once configured, you are visible in the TelmeWorlds map. People connecting through your AirGate are directly channeled to your personal web site.
What makes AirGate unique is the whole project: Telme is building the first WiFi global network, made by people. But the actual difference between the AirGate and other similar devices is that our AirGate is not a mere Wi-Fi Router, it is also an ATA adaptor for Telme VoIP services.
You must have a broadband Internet connection and a modem or an ADSL router or cable supplied by your provider. You just need an ordinary tone phone to use the VoIP service.
AirGate is available in Partner and Team Builder packages to Telme Business Partner.
AirGate-connected device speed may vary depending on a series of elements. First of all, the connection speeds of your own ADSL line. Then, the presence of possible obstacles to the AirGate signal. Finally, the actual connection capacity of the various connecting devices. This means that there is not a single “fix” value that determines the connection speed.
There is not a preset number. Nevertheless, it is quite obvious that the more devices you connect the more the broadband is “shared”, however you won’t lose usability or the capability to surf your web.
AirGate is a WiFi 802.11 g device in compliance with FCC regulations, so it can be safely used both at home and at the office.
The AirSpot is a Telme hotspot. A Telme member that has his/her AirGate activated can connect to all AirSpots in the world for free.
Everyone can connect to the AirSpots. Non-Telme users can connect by purchasing a PASS. The purchasing modalities and PASS characteristics will be announced shortly.
The choice is completely up to the user’s discretion.
